I Surrender

It has been a while since I blogged, so I thought I would just share some of what went through my mind so far today in Adoration.

This world’s definition of surrender connotes defeat, loss and often humiliation. From this world’s perspective you never want to surrender to anything or anyone lest you may be tagged a quitter, a loser, or an embarrassment.

However, when I surrendered I found peace, joy, and understanding. I chose God’s definition which connotes love, adoration, trust, faith, and hope.

If you live for the rewards of this world, you make think you are a winner, but in actuality, you will have lost much more than you realize. So do yourself a favor, reject this world’s definition and embrace and rejoice in God’s definition.

Surrender your will to the Will of God.
Surrender your heart and soul to His Mercy.
Surrender your thoughts, words, and actions to His Goodness.
Surrender all of you to His Love.

Believe me, the rewards will be more immediate, better than you can imagine, and greater than anything this world has to offer!
