“You Must Trust My Answer”

This morning I was mindlessly playing a game on my phone, and thinking.  I wasn’t addressing our Lord, but He was there to answer anyway.  I was mostly thinking about something that I have been praying for for months and so far the answer has been no.   It was the very thing that had me in tears earlier, literally doubled over in pain over the situation.   I had been asking why not?  Why will You not grant this?  Why will You not help me with this?  Why do You not change me so that this could happen?  But at this moment, I wasn’t asking; I wasn’t upset;- I was just thinking.

Then He asked me to ask myself – why do you want this so badly?  Why do you want this so badly from that particular person?  Why is it so important to you?  What will you gain if I grant it that you don’t already have?  Do you really think it will make you a better person?  Do you really think that if I granted it, that would bring you closer to Me?  Will that glorify Me or will it just make you feel better about yourself?  Do you think that if I granted it, that person can offer you more validation of My Will for you than I give to you Myself?

Why do you look for validation from others when I give you that validation with every encounter – especially sharing My Whole Self with you!  Listen more closely to Me.  Do you not trust that if it would be better for your soul, I would not have already granted it?  I will validate you in My own way, in My own time, and through whom I choose.  I have faith in You because I have placed My Faith within you!  You can gain just as much with the situation being as it is right now as you would if I granted it just because you think it would be better.

Was it not I without any human interaction Who brought you to Me in Adoration?  Was it not I without any human intervention Who lead you back to My Mother?  Is it not I Who calls you to come to Me so often?  Have I not given you comfort and solace?  Have I not asked you to do important things?  Have I not given you knowledge of Me and My Word?  You pray every day – O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of Mercy for us – I TRUST IN YOU.   If you are not just saying the words, then DO IT.  You can ask of Me anything, but You must trust My answer!
